Brooklyne’s Beacons Donations
In 2020, we used the profits made from selling Junk Brand Brooklyne’s Beacons headbands to purchase Christmas gifts for childhood cancer patients and siblings at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh
In 2021, we hosted Bike for the Bell which benefitted CureSearch. CureSearch is a nonprofit foundation that focuses on childhood cancer research for better treatments. We donated $8,500 from the event, and in the second year of Bike for the Bell (2022), we were able to donate a total of $10,000 to CureSearch.
During the holiday season, we used money that was raised from a clothing sale to match gift purchases from the CHP gift registry. We were able to meet the goal of matching $500 worth of gifts. We were able to do this for the 2022 holiday season as well after generous donations throughout the year.
